And just like that thanksgiving passed and time for a christmas countdown!! This week we had another exchange but instead of me moving, Sister Anderson left and Sister Tyler came here!! It was really fun and enjoyable!     We had service again this week lol like I said it's my favorite activity, this time was different because people weren't in cars it was a walk up and it's always nice to talk to everyone ♡♡     We also had district thanksgiving which was awesome and reminded me of home!! I love my area and district for multiple reasons but one especially is that, because I'm away from family they can make the little things feel like home. we also had two thanksgiving dinners but only took a picture with one family but holy cow our fridge is packed with leftovers lol     This week for church I had to give a talk. haha I was so nervous!! But it ended up going really well. I talked about gratitude and Light The World.      I'm doing well and j...

Miracles

Miracles!!!     1. We went to have a lesson with one of our members but when we got there he wasn't home so we went and visited old people who have been taught and we met Greg! His wife had just passed away 2 weeks before, and he was totally open to have us come over! We talked a little about the peace that we can feel from God and set up another lesson with him to talk about the plan of salvation!      2. We got a text from one of our favorite members and she gave us a CHRISTMAS TREE! And decorations. We have been so spoiled!!!     3. Yesterday we decided to call some random people that have previously been taught, and the very first lady we called said that she has been trying to get in contact with us for several weeks but she lost her phone and all of her contacts so she hadn't been able to !! She literally was so happy that we got back in contact with her and we shared some scriptures and set up another appointment with her for this week !   ...

HEYYYY!! OH MY GOSH i feel like it's been FOREVER haha Well so now its volume 2 cause I left provo and I'm in my mission.      day 1: this was a travel day, and we (my companion and 22 other people) had to wake up at 3:00 am and travel to the airport from provo BAHAHA it was adventurous. my suitcase handle ended up breaking because it smacked on the train doors. So we got  there (okc) and I stayed at the mission home (it's so nice) and I got to sign the wall. The wall has past missionaries, current ones, and some apostles on there.      DRUM ROLL ON WHERE I AM      WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS  YEEHAWWW lol i'm getting some boots      Day 2-5 : were teaching days. We had like 5 lessons a day ahhh so crazy but so fun! I’ve been able to connect with mostly all of them with just my life story and my journey through the church and I can see why I was called here. But honestly teaching people who God is and how they can have a str...

Arriving In Oklahoma

Image
Dear Parents: Your missionary daughter has safely arrived here with us in Oklahoma (see attached photo for proof!) and is now out in the field having her first experiences as a missionary! We were thrilled to meet her and the other new missionaries at the airport where we found them all a little tired, from their early morning wakeup, but excited and ready to take on the experience that will shape every significant thing that will happen to them for the rest of their lives.  Your missionary daughter has been prayerfully assigned a trainer who will be training and mentoring her in her first area (see trainer’s name and their assigned area below). We will be meeting again with them both within a couple of weeks in a zone conference to provide additional training.  Additional future meetings, including weekly district councils, we will also provide your missionary with ongoing support, encouragement and training.  In the meantime, to help us ensure as smooth a transition as ...
