Blog Vol 3 Ep 2

Okay okay I made it through this week here in chickasha

This week we've really been focusing on LOVE and how it doesn't matter if they get baptized, what matters is that they feel God's love. And WE DID IT THIS WEEK!! 

 

 

Last monday was great just like always ugh pdays are my absolute FAVORITE, we went exploring and it was so cool to see downtown chickasha. Sister Green and I have decided we want to come back and explore more of the abandoned places lol ;) 

 

 

Tuesday was another good busy day and we had dinner with one of our members which i love when I don't have to cook [lol I sound like a mom] 

We shared God’s love to two people walking around at this park Makayla and Derek and all they needed was someone to talk to them and compliment them ♡♡ 

We had a weather warning lol and the whole state was put on a lockdown and we went to Walmart for a quick run of water and Walmart looked EMPTY, the shelves, lol nothing but dust was on those things.

 

 

Wednesday - we looked outside and there was no snow/ice haha the storm didn't hit until around 7pm but it was too late. WE GOT PUT IN JAIL, we were told not to leave our apartment until 3 days and oh my goodness long long 3 days i tell you. Sometimes me and sister Green would have to run outside in the freezing cold to just not feel stuck. We had our regular bible study and this time we led it which was fun. One of our new friends joined us and he was so engaged in it, it was precious! 

 

 

Thursday and Friday were same days basically with not being able to go outside

 

 

Friday we met this guys named Randell who we also taught with LOVE and he had a lot of his family pass away from tragic events and we shared alma 40:23 - the soul shall be restored to the body and the body to the soul yea and every limb and joint shall be restored to its body yea even a hair on the head shall not be lost but all things shall be restored to their proper and perfect frame. that scripture really touched his heart and it was a sweet moment. 

 

 

Sunday was my most precious favorite day!! We had a lesson with our sweet Kelvin [that's who joined us for bible study] . This man is so amazing and is trying to find his purpose and his testimony and how to place God in his life. We all clicked so well on the many phone calls we had with him and in our lesson he invited his sister Mfon and it was just one of those lessons where it made you realize this is why you love missionary work. the spirit was so strong during the lesson and you could see the change in his body language and the spirit was testifying truth too and towards the end we had to tell him we couldn't teach him anymore because he doesn't live in our area but we told him about the other missionaries and how there's a YSA ward and how he's going to love it there because people our age are going through the same thing and having the same questions. 

 

 

I love being on my mission and sharing LOVE. We need to be more kind and loving to those around us before we can even add religion to it. LOVE EVERYONE AND BE KIND ♡♡♡
