Blog Vol 4 Ep 2

HELLLOOOO !! 

 

 

Oh my goodness, ladies and gentleman, boys and girls! This week has been a week for sure geez!! So lets start off  with

 

 

Monday: It went well we love pday and we took a super cute picture of our tags in front of this super cute wall [you'll see the picture], we toured OSU for a bit and that was fun! it's a big school so we didn't see much but we saw enough. we also had dinner with some members at olive garden and that was good. 

 

 

Tuesday: We were mainly inside the house and we had a lesson with our friend Tammy and that went well. We had to like stop in the middle of the lesson to introduce Sister Warren and I because she didn't want to answer our questions because she felt uncomfortable talking about spiritual stuff to people she doesn't know which is valid so we talked about who we were and that helped out a lot and she was able to open up herself more and felt comfortable enough to ask us questions and bring up some concerns she was having. We went back to the apartment that I talked about in my last email and it looked like I was trying to break it but we figured the key hole situation out. 

 

 

Wednesday: NOW THIS WAS AN ADVENTURE BAHHAHA

So first we started our day by going to a chiropractor which was so fun!! I’m such a medical freak - I loved it so much!! Then we went to coney island stillwater and it was NOT good, YUCK. But it got better because we had an insomnia cookie!! I love those things. Later that day we went and did family history with our friend Monta and Vickie. THEY ARE HILARIOUS -I was laughing the entire time - they are best friends and they are in their 60s maybe and they crack me up with the jokes they were making! We then ended our night with street contacting and that was crazy!! We went on an insect adventure and it honestly was a LONG trail filled with mosquitoes and I got bit 21 TIMES and at the end of the trail the insect adventure was closed! Haha it was a fun time tbh. We went to Braums and got frozen yogurt lol that was nasty so we decided to feed it to the grass. And then our sink started to overfill with nasty water and it smelled NASTY - literally like someone threw up in our sink! 

 

 

Thursday: This day was boring. We still had the sink problem - they sent one plumber out and they couldn't fix it so we have another one coming today so next week I’ll update you all! But we did some service and that was fun! 

 

 

Friday: All we did was have a sonic run - besides work but it was a chill day. We called a friend and it went straight to voicemail and said "call rejected" it was sad but we laughed about it lol

 

 

Saturday: Was my 8th months being a missionary!! WOOT WOOT!! That day was so somewhat fun! Our excessive heat alerts went off and they haven't turned off for the past few days. 

 

 

Sunday: Was good! We are working on member trust and we had a whole 1 hr 30 min meeting about it and what we could do to build it. Literally when members have a bad instance with missionaries it stays just like how it does with people outside the church. We cut carrots for the bunny that's in our backyard and because of the heat they shrunk so she finally ate them! But everything went well this week!

Sweet mercy!!      Guys this week was a blast! I had a great birthday week so thank you to everyone who made it so special!! I love you all for that!      A lot of stuff happened so this week we ended up having 4 lessons!! Yooo it was so fun! I missed teaching! So everyone pray for Margie, Lauren, Trevor, and someone else but we didn't get his name lol.     We had a few dinners this week and every dinner was HILARIOUS, the members here definitely have some personality for sure!      Anyways twas a good week but gotta go so ill email next week! Blog Vol 4 Ep 16

Sweet mercy!!      This week was busy!! It was filled with teaching; love, share and invite messages; visiting people; service; and driving to Edmond!      Right now we are teaching Kym, Lynda, Paula, and Frances! Y'all i've been praying for friends to teach in this area for the ETERNITIES and now it's finally here! They all have wonderful stories and are super sweet women #powertothewomen      Sis Herring and I went to service but we didn't have our car and we no joke biked our 12 miles and honestly my bottom half was trying to hold on tightly to my upper half. The wind was winding away and STRONG but we the sisters are STRONGER!      We went to Edmond for our interviews with our mission president and he is definitely so kind and cares so much about us. Blog Vol 5 Ep 16

Well good morning!! Pday on Tuesday, this is a NEW one! So this week was good! Update on our friends we are teaching, they are doing fantastic and they are progressing well and man we just love and adore them!! Even so that we are going to the temple with sharlotte today which is why my pday is today!  Haha sunday we bore our final testimony as a missionary for fast & testimony meeting, and it was so cute because our ward after the meeting ended just surrounded us and told us how much they love us and how grateful they are to us and ugh it melts my heart when you make bonds with the ward family.  Lol Sister Brown and I ran into some cute lil goats haha they were eating our hair, we had a great time!!  I had my last zone conference this week and it was a tender experience! I'm definitely going to miss seeing missionaries that I love and adore.  We also dyed Sister Browns hair to blend her roots which I HAD A BLAST!! Like I might as well open my own hair salon but ...
