Blog Vol 4 Ep 13

Good afternoon everyone!! I hope you had a lovely week! Here's what went down :))

So Monday was a lazy day for me, but for Sister Warren it was pretty busy! She almost got everything packed up well, at least the stuff she could and then we went to a few stores. Okay a little story time. When I was back home I got an addiction to pistachio ice cream and while I've been in Oklahoma I've been trying to find it at the Walmarts I've searched around but I never found it BUT on Monday I did! I literally thought to myself even though that was a small thing, God was letting me know he is aware of me through ice cream #itsthelittlethingsthatcount

Tuesday; Sister Warren packed some more, and we did a somewhat deep clean of our house which is nice.

I also stayed up until 1am finishing Sister Warren's comp journal, if no one knows a comp journal is a little scrapbook your companions add to with photos, quotes, a letter, etc. I'll have to put a picture of how big mine is :))

Wednesday I got my new companion Sister Herring! She is definitely going to be so good for this area! We've been laughing and getting along well this week so I'm grateful for that! We also are getting sisters on campus and so we are in a car share so they will get the car when needed for them so wish us luck that we are able to find a smooth way to figure something out.

Haha I’m realizing that this email might be a FATTY so, sorry about that. But I hope you enjoy reading it and looking at the photos!

Thursday was our first full day together!! And while we were street contacting we ran into a pentecostal guy and he started speaking tongues and that was a very interesting moment.

I also biked for the first time in like 12 weeks, let's just say I'm sore.

Friday we met 3 potentials who are all interested in building a relationship/strengthening theirs. We met Shelby, Hannah, and Lauren. Shelby and Hannah already had a foundation but Lauren we have the unique opportunity to work with her and help her developing faith in Jesus Christ. She is a scientist and mathematis so we like logic and facts so it's going to be a good experience working with her.

Saturday and Sunday were pretty relaxed, so nothing to say about that. We did have our missions “why I believe” devotional and can I just say that it was such a funny and spiritual devotional. Some of the things the recent converts say is hilarious like last night one of the ladies goes "God light them up, I got the fuse ready to go" like only in Oklahoma hahah.

Anyways this is pretty hefty so imma log off, talk to you next week! I love you all!
